In a Galaxy not actually far away…
I began to fall in love with photography in a Media Arts class in grade 10. It sparked an interest that made me look at life differently, and changed how I perceive things. I had found something that gave me a bigger meaning to life, and how I was able to capture those moments through photography.
I first started out with a point-and-shoot camera from my dad, taking photos of random things that caught my eye. I felt a sense of fulfillment in capturing them. Once I started using the camera to document family events and special occasions, I became hooked on the idea of freezing those kinds of moments and cherishing them forever. Not just for me, but the people involved as well.
Now, quite a few years have passed. I’m pursuing a new vision that started all that time ago, sparked by the desire to freeze moments in their essence. My main focus involves a lot of detailed productions (i.e. macro), however I also have worked doing portraits, landscapes, wildlife, and anything involving dance (I danced a lot back in high school)!
